Hi, I am Tiffany Kuo, the heart and soul behind Veni Vidi Amavi Events. I am actually pretty shy, so writing about myself feels a little unnerving. The short version: I have been planning events since I was a teenager.

My first big event that was not school related was my sister’s sweet sixteen. It was Alice in Wonderland themed, mostly because I really wanted an excuse to buy the trays of mini desserts from Porto’s, with decor from Party City and far too much food. I have come a long way since then, I promise.

After a degree in business administration, I became a restaurant manager with a Los Angeles hospitality and nightlife group, best known for their Beverly Hills flagship, The Bazaar by Jose Andres. A few years in, I joined the wedding industry and realized everything I had learned about hospitality translated directly to a couple’s experience. Hospitality and weddings are synonymous. Exceptional service, to our clients, to their guests, and even to our fellow vendors, can elevate someone’s entire experience. We love getting to do it.

I have been a wedding planner for a little over a decade now, and I have been lucky to have the same genuinely kind team beside me the whole way, people who care about you as much as I do. We have sewn up countless pairs of pants and celebrated many different cultures and traditions. We are here for it, and we are here for you.

Veni Vidi Amavi is a rebrand, born out of a desire to freely do what we love: to craft celebrations that tell the unique stories of our couples, with love, care, and good intentions. Your wedding is a celebration of your love, and we are here to make sure it mirrors your spirit in every way.

The Way We Work

The details that give it away.

A decade of weddings teaches you the small things. These are a few of ours.

I avoid an outdoor first look at noon.

That is when the light is harshest. If I can help it, I schedule around it, because knowing photography well enough to protect your photos is part of the plan.

I know a little about every vendor’s job.

I have picked up a little from every vendor’s job, so I can be more well rounded. A live band needs a dedicated power drop on its own circuit, for one. Making sure everyone is set up for success is my job.

I get the WiFi password in advance.

If a walkthrough shows weak reception, I have it ready so the DJ is never hunting for it mid-event. I would rather solve a problem before it happens.

I never cap my hours.

Things can go wrong when you are not there. I stay the entire day, every time.

I am careful with your budget.

I am very cautious when spending other people’s money. You get honest guidance, never an upsell.

I am there for the vendors too.

If we set everyone up for success, the whole day runs smoother. We treat vendors as partners, not staff to manage.
